TERRARIUM COMMUNITY
MUSIC LABEL
Terrarium is home to a DIY community music label that works with communally engaged, trans/queer musicians and sound artists. We provide space, support and access to shared resources for one-time projects and short-term programming.
Our community music label at Terrarium aims to be a multifaceted peer support network, made up of community members who are motivated to engage in meaningful support of fellow musicians and sound artists in their community.
The label, run by the Trans/Queer Music Collective (TQMC), is building a network of communally engaged musicians, engineers, producers, organizers and sound artists, connecting and collaborating for the shared goal of fostering growth and development for marginalized, trans/queer creatives in the GTA.
The TQMC also organizes skill building programs and exciting opportunities at Terrarium for trans, queer, under-resourced musicians and sound artists. We are currently developing our mandate and membership model, which will be the heart of our community music label.
We would love to hear about your projects and tell you about our current and ongoing opportunities!
